In the Sand Village
Kakashi rolled over on his back with a sigh of relief. Looking up he saw Gaara.

"Hey, kid, I owe you one." Taking Gaara's offered hand, Kakashi pulled himself to his feet.

"You don't owe me anything. This is what I live for, after all." gaara said simply, looking at mercury.

Merc stared at the floor."Damn him...Damn them all!"She kicked the ground.

Kakashi hissed as his back straightened upon standing. Though kazemei's sword was not sharp, it was not any fun to be hit with. Also, Kakashi felt dizzy, weak, and a little nautious knowing his bodies natural chakra flow was interupted in seveal points.

"Mercury, so this is where you've been all this time." Gaara came closer, noticing her swollen face where sasuke had hit her.
"I promise He'll die for that. Soon."

"Misty, will you stay with Gaara for the time being? I need to go warn the Anbu of this. I wasn't sure, but Sasuke's intference today assures me that the Akatsuki is going to attack the leaf village again."

Merc smiled up at Gaara."Its been a while since I've seen you,Gaara-kun..."

Gaara frowned at Mercury.
"I'm not your boyfriend"

Kakashi took a few steps foreward, then staggered and almost fell to his knees.
"Damnit, it seems I'm not going anywhere for a while. And I couldn't ask either of you to go for me..."

"A girl can dream,can't she?"Merc stared sadly at Gaara.She walked over to Kakashi and helped him stand up straight.

"Gaara, you should stay, should anything happen in your village...I however must go to the leaf village at once,"
Kakashi stayed hunched over, his back hurt from top to bottom.

Gaara frowned as his sand snufed out the fire from Sasuke's atatcks.

"You're as good as a crippled child in your condition, and Mercury is nothing but a bullheaded rookie. You're gonna have her take you there in a wheelchair then have her defend you the whole time? I'll come too. Unless you think my village is so weak as to be unable to defend itself." Gaara met Kakashi's eyes with a glassy stare.

Suddenly,Merc had Gaara by the callar of his shirt."What did you call me?I might like you,and I might be a rookie,but I am not bullheaded!"

Without warning Gaara kissed Mercury's cheek. As she slid off him swooning, he returned his atention to kakashi

"This is obviously only the concern of the village hidden in the leaves. I will go with you there. When Sasuke Uchiha comes with his band of foolish sound ninja's, you, and the entirety of the leaf village, What are you staring at?"
Gaara frowned.

"I just don't understand what you just did..." Kakashi was obviously gaping underneath his mask.

"Oh. Apparently the girls of my village find me attractive, as if I could mate with any of them in my present condition."
Gaara said absently, watching the mostly inperceptable sand armor that covered his skin shift as he moved.
  "Sometimes, if they bother me, i kiss them." His eyes moved to the left, as if all the way behind him he could see love struck drooling Mercury.
"It stuns them long enough to get them out of my way. Women, so disturbing in there simplicity"

Kakashi didn't bother to point out the inaccuracy of that statement.
"She can't go, she's still hurt and still liable to do what got her hurt..." Kakashi's eye settled on mercury, mumbling "And what got her her fondish wish..."

Merc glomped Gaara."Mine!I Loveth you too Gaara-kun!I forgive you!"She smiled evilly."Havent you realized?I dont just sit there like a moron."

Gaara suffered her embrace as she pinned him to the ground.

"Mercury" His husky voice sounded very strained.

"I swore I would protect you and guarantee you life until you die of old age, and that's why I'm not going to kill you now, but....." Gaara visably winced, "I'm going to ask you nicely to get....off...me."

"No.You.Ow.Me."Merc grinned and licked his cheek.

"Kakashi... help me." Gaara Scowled, trying to move his head out of the way. "I can't hurt her...However much i want too..."

"Sorry friend," kakashi said, straightening up, "I have no luck getting women to obey me either. Maybe if you ask nicely one more time."

Gaara groaned.

Merc whimpered and got off Gaara."Bitch..."

Gaara eyed Kakashi over. "Well, if you think you can go alone, you better get moving. Whatever Those sound village fools are planning, they'll move quickly now." In mid sentance, and without looking, he used a wisp of sand to pull Mercury's hair.

Merc yelped and kicked Gaara in a very sensitive spot....ahem...

In the Leaf Village
Hinata looked at Crysta,"I don't know her Naruto."

"Huh..." Naruto smiled, thinking for a moment. after a couple seconds, naruto finally thought of something to say.
"Well, hey there! I'm Naruto Uzamaki, the next Hokage! Who are you?" Naruto extended a hand out to Crysta.

Crysta stared at Naruto's hand before taking it. "Nice to meet you Kuubi. My name is Crysta. Goodnight." A needle pricked Naruto's wrist from under Crysta's sleeve, one that was heavily coated with her specialized poison. Nobody, especially not Naruto, could stand against that poison.

Kazama and kazemei both appeared within an alley in the leaf village,"Damn...that was not as I Intended."He muttered through clenched teeth, He looked around and finding an unused aparment he threw himself and Kazemei inside.

Kazemei immediately sat down and fell into a deep trance, just as pissed as Kazama that their plans went wronger and wronger each day, but more so that kakashi was getting into his head. He closed his eyes and focused on trying to speed his healing using a chakra technique not to diffrent than the one Tsunade used, but he was good for nothing for the next 6 hours, at least. the last thing Kazemei said was

"Find...Crysta...see if something went right..."

Kazama nodded, popping a food pill,"Hai...if I'm not back by tommrow go on without me."He said as he dissapeared in search of her.


Crysta walked out of the ramen shop with Naruto slung over her shoulder. Several people gave her odd looks, which she answered by say "Poor bloke! Passed out while eating his favorite food. I'd better take him to a medic nin." Luckily, she was heading in the way of the hospital building. Grinning under her hood, she thought about where to go next...

Kazama reached out and dragged her inside a nearby alley,"You have him? Good."

Crysta glared at him. "Was that completely necessary? If someone had seen you drag me in here, they would have been rather suspiciously of us, don't you think?"

Kazama waved that off,"That dosent matter anymore, Kazemei and I are...weakened. We need you to keep the boy sedated and to help us watch for ANBU."

Crysta shrugged, making Naruto's head bob. "Sure, why not? But, might I ask, why are you two weakened?"

Hinata had followed Crysta and punched her hard in the face,"PUT HIM DOWN NOW!"

Kazama cursed,"Shit! Ninja Art!"He shouted as he made a few hand signs,"Poision gas!"He said as he grabbed naruto and Crysta and dissapeared.

"heyyyyyyeee..ohhh, hey what's the rush........here?" Naruto sleepily mumbled as Kazama dragged him down the alleyways.

Crysta sighed and punched Naruto in the head, knocking him out again. "Damn! The little bugger is more immune to poison than I thought. He must have been poisoned a lot in his life to wake from mine so quickly."

Hinata covered her nose and mouth,This isn't good.she thought then she saw a hand grab her and pull her from the poison gas,"Thank you."she said when they were out."

Ino smiled at Hinata,"No problem."

Hinata looked at Ino,"Naruto's in trouble,come on."She took Ino's hand and ran in the direction Crysta and Kazama went.

Kazama and Crysta dissapeared into an apartment, Sealing the door.

Crysta dropped Naruto on the ground and folded her arms, glaring at Kazama. "Nice, real nice. Now they'll have ANBU all over this area looking for us. Now what are we going to do oh-great-smart-one?

Kazama shook his head,"Unlikely, I have sealed this door so much that it would take a ninja on the level of a Sanin to open it, besides they didnt see where we went."

Hinata sighed,"Crap we lost them,we should go tell Lady Tsunade."

Ino nodded,"Yeah we should,let's go."she went in the direction of Lady Tsunade's place.

Hinata followed.

Kazemei barely stayed within the trance. He held the Shrio Nasutto in both hands, gripping it so tightly that were it made of normal wood, or perhaps even a light metal like copper it would have snapped in two. He was sucking chakra out of the sowrd, consuming almost all the sword had to give
as his body rapidly healed his wounds.
In his trance which was much like sleep he was troubled by dreams of little bells on string and his friends from his past, friends he killed to grow stronger.

When he awoke feeling refreshed, he stood up. Looking out the window and seeing the moon, Kazemei was shocked.
WHAT? It's only been an hour???

Shaking a bit, some from his difficult healing jutsu, mostly from his fear and anger, he looked down at the Shiro Nasutto.
Gone was it's shiny white glow, it was grey and faded. It looked dead.

"DAMMIT!" Kazemei flung the now useless piece of wood so hard it slammed into the wall nearly up to the hilt.

I can't believe I drained it! It's all gone, all the power is GONE!

"Now I have to sacrifice someone...but that means.. damn I can't worry about that now!" Kazemei shook his head, and left the old apartment, slamming the door behind him, leaving his weapon stuck in the wall and his blood drying upon the floor.

Kazama came out of another room and stood for a moment, He then walked over to the wodden sword in the wall,"Hmmm...so he did it all this time."

Hinata and Ino arrived at Tsunade's office panting and burst through the door,luckily she was still up looking at some papperwork.

Tsunade looked up when the two came in,"What is the meaning of..."she paused to look at the two out of breath girls,"What's going on?"

Hinata spoke first,"A stranger kidnapped Naruto Lady Tsunade!"

Tsunade stood up,"What?!When?!"

Hinata sighed,"I'm not sure maybe an hour and a half ago."

Tsunade sighed,"Can you give me a description?"

Hinata sighed,"I can't really remember,I know it was a girl,she knocked Naruto out with some sort of poison,I followed and she was with a guy and he did a jutsu and I was surounded by a poison cloud,then I lost them."

Ino nodded.

Tsunade sighed,"I'm sorry but I can't help,all that I can do is alert the shinobi to be on the lookout for Naruto,Ino take Hinata to the hospital to get her checked out,just to make sure she's ok."

Ino nodded and took Hinata to the hospital.

10 minutes later Hinata sat on the stool waiting for the doctor to come back.

The doctor came in,"Ok,it seems you are fine you don't have any poison in your lungs,you are free to go."

Hinata thanked the doctor then set off with Ino.

Kazemei noticed the village was quickly going on high alert. There were shinobi everywhere, walking through the village, ushering people in their homes. Kazemei noticed shiftier figures wearing cat masks trying to be inconspicuous as they patrolled the area. But they were easily dodgable.

Not wearing any sort of disguise, Kazemei came upon a small grouping of houses that was likely where a clan now lived. Kazemei slunk to the back of a building that was probably still a dojo, which was what it was when Kazemei last saw it.
He knelt down in the dirt at the rear wall and began to dig.

At last he found a box, made of old rotted wood. He opened it and tossed the box away carelessly, taking the scroll that was inside.

Crysta looked out of a cloth covered window and sighed. "How long do I have to stay here? Kicking the kuubi unconscious gets boring after the first few times..."

Hinata was sitting in her room,she had noticed all the shinobi running around when she had been walking home,"I hope they find Naruto."

Kazama looked at Crysta,"Be ready...we move soon."

Kazemei walked slowly back to the apartment where Kazama and Crysta were keeping Naruto. He was clutching the small dusty scroll in one hand. He was angry, very angry.

He rapped three times on the door then let himself in, looking disdainfully at Crysta as she slapped the unconcious Naruto around for her amusement.

"The boy, I don't care what either of you want with him. He dies right now." Kazemei pulled the Shrio Nasutto out of the wall and pointed it at Naruto.

Crysta looked over at Kazemei and smiled. "Excellent. I was starting to get rather bored." She stood up, hauling Naruto up as well. "Have at it Kazemei."

Kazemei looked at Naruto and raised the shro Nasutto, which momentarily glowed with a deep purple light, as if it was also ready to kill Naruto, and to posess his soul, but Kazemei froze. His vision began to blur and just for a split second the person on the floor wasn't Naruto, it was Kanada, Kazemei's childhood friend. The blonde headed kid who was the first of many people Kazemei had killed.

Kazama raised an eyebrow.
"There's a lot of Ninja's searching for us, Kazemei, if you're going to kill him, do it now."

Kazemei lowered his sword slowly.
"No, now is not the right time. he's worth more as a hostage..." Inwardly, Kazemei was outraged at his weakness.
My past is catching up with me...I had forgotten all about it until I made the mistake of coming back to this fucking village.

"Then We must leave. Pick him up, Crysta, time to go." Kazama got up and gathered his things.

Crysta sighed and picked him up, throwing him over her shoulder. "I don't see why we need to keep him, though I suppose having a pet demon would be rather fun....."

Kazama winced slightly, pulling out another Teleportation scroll.
"My last one. It's not very far to where we need to go, however, we must go now. Those girls will have those alleyways crawling with hunters by now, and I'm sure they'll find two pairs of tracks heading up here." he said, contemptively eyeing Crysta and Kazemei.

Kazama's gaze stayed on kazemei.
"What's wrong?"

Kazemei shook his head back and forth slowly, his eyes still on Naruto.

Kazama gritted his teeth.
"You have been completely out of reach since we got here, Kazemei, is this a side effect of your healing jutsu? Or was one of the powers of the Shiro Nasutto keeping you sane?"

"The kid, we shouldnt have taken him." kazemei's eyes didn't leave Naruto.

Kazama practically writhed in anger.
"Of course we should have! Do you have any idea how dangerous he is?"

"We should have killed him. Because we took him, we're screwed."

"what?"

The wall of the room shatter as Kiba Inuzaki tornadoed his way int the room, going straight for Kazama.

Crysta made a sign and threw her arm out, sending ice at Inuzaki. It hit him the square in the chest and froze him the the other wall. "Hurry up with that damn scroll Kazama! We can kill the brat at any time we want."

Kazama shouted to Crysta "Take the scroll and run with Uzamaki. I have a plan for him! So don't kill him but for gods sake don't let him awake!"

Kiba struggled to get loose of the ice as Kazama watched through the hole in the wass as A veritable horde of ninjas came running up the alley towards the small appartment building Kazemei and I'll hold them off, just... shit I don't know just get the hell out of here!"

Kazemei stood still, watching the ninja's come.

Kazama flashed his hand out, 20 chakra strings flying outwards from his fingers as he summoned his remaining four castle destroyer puppets.

The mob was beaten back temporaily by the skilled puppetry of Kazama, and he frowned, knowing with their numbers, at least 20, they would eventually find their way around the jutsu.

"Dammit, Kazemei, get out there! Kill them!"

Kazemei did nothing.

"Oh for the love of..." Crysta's hands went flying "Ultimate Ice Jutsu!" Ice came from under her feet and spreed to the enemy ninja. Ice climbed up the legs of those that were on the ground, which was most of them, and engulfed them, freezing everyone solid. "Now will you idiots hurry up and use the scroll. I don't know how the stupid thing works and I can only hold the ice for so long. Oh, and don't step on the ice or else you'll get frozen too."

Kazemei continued staring off into the distance, but his expression suddenly changed. seeming to snap back to reality, he growled in frustration.

"Lee is here. I can no longer match his speed, unless...Kazemei, Crysta, if you can keep him away from me for just five minutes, I..." Kazemei picked up his sword, which had a sickly grey color now, unlike it's usual white luminessance. "I can repair my wepon..."

Crysta skin was starting to get a slightly blue tint to it. "Sure, just hurry will you. It's going to take me forever to go back to normal body temperature, so you might want to take the fox from me before he freezes." she dropped Naruto, making sure that he was still unconscious, and made a hand sign. "Frozen Dagger Jutsu!" Hundreds of little ice daggers appeared all around Crysta, slowly circling her, waiting for her command. Crysta sat down on some ice and sighed as it started to come up around her like a shield. "I'm ready".
